I'm searching for a pillowcase in this HUGE city, and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could buy one, other than at macy's? my ideal pillowcase would be one that you could find at a target (which does not seem to exist in manhattan). so, I am looking for one that is jersey knit (like t-shirt material) and isn't too pricey. thanksssssssss!

  1. If it MUST be in Manhattan, you could try Century 21, downtown near the old WTC site.

However, if you DO want Target, the one in the Atlantic Center in Brooklyn is REALLY easy to get to from Manhattan. It's right above the Atlantic Avenue subway station (you can actually take an escalator right into the Atlantic Center from the subway station.)

Almost every train in NYC goes through the Atlantic Avenue station, or it's sister station, Pacific Street station, which is connected to Atlantic Avenue station underground.

Also, you could go to Bed, Bath and Beyond on 6th Avenue at West 16th Street. There is also one uptown in the 60's somewhere.

  2. Bed, Bat and Beyond at 16th st and 6th ave. is a good source.

Target is in nearby Brooklyn.  Look at a map because almos every line in the city will stop within a few blocks of the store located at the intersection of  Atlantic, Flatbush and Fourth Ave's

How about Kmart?  Two stores are at 34th st and 7th ave and a block away from the Astor Place stop on the #6 train.

  3. go to conway kmart all of those stores on broadway midtown

and target is at the fulton mall. take the d,n,m,1,2,9,4,5, to pacific st/ atlantic ave, brooklyn and its around the block
