I am going to be distributing my CV around local schools in the hope of picking up some supply work but I am having trouble deciding on the layout of my CV. I know what information I need to put in, but want to make it stand out as much as possible and therefore have a good layout. If anyone knows of any good websites specifically showing the layout of a teacher's cv that would be great or if anyone could forward me an example that would be fab too!! Thanks!

  1. The same as any other CV.

    Have an education section,

    A section for work,

A work experience section - put your placements in this,

    A skills section,

    Hobbies and interests and references.

To be honest though, schools don't use random supply teachers - they are usually registered to one or two supply agencies and always use there staff so that there CRB's and documentation are covered.  Contact you local council to find out who their link supply agency are.

  2. Well, I'm a teacher, and I can show you mine.  Just message me with your e-mail address, and I'll send you a response with my resume attached in MS-Word format.  I'll black out the address and phone number, but leave everything else as is.
