Anyone know where I can find the Tax threshold for the previous 5 years? I know this years is £5,435.?

  1. Inland revenue only have it for the last 2 years as you have probably already noticed.

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/it.htm

    For advice on this and your other question, I really would just call the inland revenue and talk it though with them, they will send you the right forms to sort out your tax rebate.

    If you have any letters from the inland revenue, the number for your tax offcie will be on there.

  2. Dig around on the HM Treasury website under "budgets".

    The amounts were:

    2000/01   £4,385

    2001/02   £4,535

    2002/03   £4,615

    2003/04   £4,615 (again)

    2004/05   £4,745

    2005/06   £4,895

    2006/07   £5.035

    2007/08   £5,225

    now          Ã‚£5,435

    from Oct 08 £6,035 (backdated to 6 April)
