Anyone know where to camp in Pensacola?

I live in Pensacola, FL and me and my husband are wanting to go camping somewhere close thats by water (like a river or beach). anyone have any ideas where some good places are?

Styx River Resort now allows public camping but is not very primitive if that's what you want.  There's also a new campground on the same exit (#53) called Riverside that has nice spots and is much smalller.  Both have access to Styx River.  It depends on what you are camping in and what amenities you are looking for if any.  Noth are in Robertsdale, AL.  15 minutes from the Florida line on I10 West, exit 53
