  1. Try e-bay motors, Hemmings Motor News.

But do not expect to find one cheap. If you do it will most likely cost more to get it at least looking pretty then paying a few dollars more for one with at least an amateur restoration.

Try a search, or look for classic car dealers in your area.

  2. These are highly sought after collectible cars.  There is no such thing as a cheap 1967 Mustang convertible.  Most people who currently own a car like this know what they are worth so the odds of finding one cheap because the person doesn't know what they have is very slim.

A rusted out junker body that doesn't run is going to cost you at least $2500.  One that is drivable, but well used will cost about $11,500, a nice one will cost over $16,000, and a mint condition one will cost over $24,000.

    To these prices, add 20% for a V8, 40% for a High performance 289, 30% for a 390, and 7% for a 4 speed.

You might want to lower your expectations a little and look for a Mustang hard top.  You can find a decent one for between $5,000 to $10,000.

  3. I would say it is almost impossible but the best place I can think of is craigslist.org

Go to wherever you live on there then look in the cars+trucks section (you can refine your search there too)

    Hope this helps

    Chris

  4. I hate tobe the one to tell you this but there is no Cheap 67 Mustang Conv. That is a classic car so even a pile of rust with no motor or top will cost you thousands.  It's great that you want to get your mom her dream car but that is the harsh facts of the world. There is a way you can get her one pretty easy but it wont be cheap. If you buy a fixer upper you'll have to do all the work yourself and it still will cost allot of money. The easiest way is to find a classic car dealer and have her buy one on payments, just like a new car. It will probably cost well over 20 grand but hey! it a dream car. Have Mom look at it this way, for the the same monthly payment as a Honda Accord she can drive her dream car and make memories with her kids that are priceless. Believe me, some of my BEST childhood memories are of Dad and I taking his 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible down to the beach, heck anywhere . Plus, that cars value will just keep going up, that could be your collage fund. Just don't wreck it!!!!
