  1. I hate people who answer questions with 'idk', but in this case 'idk' is probably the best answer.

I've had a very successful year (in my business) and right at the moment I feel like I can't do another year.  I need a really good break, so I'm taking 6 weeks off and heading to Fiji.  I'm sure I'll be back better than ever.

Maybe it's as simple as that.  It must be overwhelming for a young fella and of all the Cats players, I had the feeling he was overwhelmed the most.  Sort of a feeling like he didn't belong here.

If I were bomber, I'd be encouraging him.

  2. I heard he has asked for time out for a break , but  what annoys me is, a media outlet making regular news updates saying  it comes  a day after a report released about  his father.   I just think its a disgrace the media again trying to sensationalise, to make something out of nothing.   I mean what is the story here, there isn't ONE, just a wellknown surname , unfortunately in many ways for that family!          There could be a million reasons why Nathan wants a break, illness, a sore toe, a holiday with a friend, anything, and after all it s the "OFF" season,  its not as if he is going to miss 5 or 6 games

  3. Ahhh, the majesty of journalism.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

  4. has he pulled the pin?, or was it the needle?...

  5. Nathan is just like his dad, wanting to stay away from media attention. Media attention and the reclusiveness kept him from playing in the TAC cup.

I just hope he isn't falling into a drug culture.

If anybody has a link they can provide so I can read about this, I haven't looked at the Age or Herald Sun sites today (Friday in Kansas USA).

  6. To be honest i hadn't heard that but it doesn't surprise me,the kids got talent no question but from day one he's had motivational problems and i wonder if his hearts really in it,he was quite happy kicking around in the Geelong league with his mates before Geelong (afl) convinced him to give the big time a go.

i mean nathan should be jumping out of his skin to play AFL like all the other young kids running around, and you don't see many AFL players taking time off when they are in the middle of pre season-good luck to him but sadly i think its all over at Geelong

  7. the news this morning is he has gone into business with his dad

not a legitimate business if you know what i mean

  8. i seen it in the paper, the club has told him to go away and think about it, he cant take the AFL level i think

  9. Someone should whisper in his ear...."Think of the money. Think of the money. Think of the money, boy!!!!!!

What other skills does he have? He doesn't appear over-endowed with the old grey matter....
