  1. did you do the carb kit yourself, or was it done at a dealership/by a liscensed professional? it's possible you didn't do it right... but that doesn't explain the oil part... (atleast that i know of) could definately explain the eratic running though.

  2. Well, it won't start because it's blowing oil through the carb.. First make sure the oil level is correct, (make sure there isn't too much oil in the crank) Always check the simple stuff first.

You don't say how many miles or hours are on the Grizzly or what year it is so it could be from normal wear and tear, but it sounds like you broke or wore out a piston oil ring or something happened to a valve or valve seal. Since the oil is BLOWING out the carb I'm thinking an exhaust valve isn't opening and throwing the oil out the carb instead of the exhaust. But why it's throwing oil is another problem.

The valve could have holed or cracked the piston or the piston chipped, a ring or rings broke or cracked. You won't know exactly what it is until you take the top end off and take a look.

Check your tappet settings as if you were giving it a tune up and see if the tappets are responding correctly. Check to see if the Grizzly has good compression. I'm not familiar with the Grizzly and don't know how many cylinders it has but crank it over slowly, if it has a kick start, and listen closely for any unusual noises. I hope it's too much oil. Good Luck
