Anyone knows how is the work at the amtrak's yards?

if someones starts as a coach cleaner...is it hard to be promoted? can be promoted to a conductor perhaps? is it more likely to work part time of full time? anything u know will be helpulf.

If Amtrak is like the UP, then a coach cleaner can not trade crafts.  A coach cleaner can move up, but to be a car repair man.  I would think full time as many coaches as they have you would be pretty busy.
