Anyone knows how polarized glasses are manufactured or made, or where I can read about it?

Basically, a polarization filter is a diffraction grate consisting of many tiny lines laid out so they are all aligned in the same direction that only allow light of a certain polarity with respect to the lines in the filter to pass. I'm still looking for precise, detailed information on how this is done.

Here is another, but it has a lot more information about polarization, but as of yet, I haven't seen anything that gives details on how they are made. It's a very interesting site IMO. It can be found here:

Each menu item relates to polarization in one way or another. I'm not yet finished perusing it myself.
