I would take the train till Boiano or Campobasso then get a cab .If you drive just rent a deisel car take the A1 south exit Sanvittore andgo east till your destination.And on the way back you have got wheels .

yes why bus? Use train! It will take 200km about.. hard to travel with the bus..

however if you have to take bus, try to ask on tiburtina station. There, are the most common lines (or from Laurentina.. maybe)
