Anyone knows of a good classy but not too expensive restaurant in Perth?

Am planning have classy dinner for friend (her birthday soon), she even suggested to have a theme " downtown manhattan" and me and friends thought of fulfilling her bday wish for a bday party, but don't have any idea whereabouts of a affordable but yet classy place with good food. suggestions pls

Are u looking in Perth city? How about windows at the burswood? its really not that dear if you dont have the fancy coffees and take it easy on the drinks, view if fantastic, service is world class and food is amazing

If your looking for something a bit cheaper, y not head to Subiaco, the oyster bar, black toms or the witches cauldron are all affordable and classy

I think that the first person who responded was referring to Clancy's Fish Pub, and i agree, its a funky little place with great food and a fantastic range of beers on tap.

If by affordable, assuming you mean around $20-40 per person, then I suggest that you try out a western style restaurant. I forgot the name, but it's on Ogilvie rd, just facing Canning Hwy near the Canning Hwy Bridge towards Applecross, and located under a small fort bridge - good place with good food, music, beer...I think it'll live up to your theme.

Extra info: It's near Hanna's BBQ, if you know where that is.
