Anyone live and do E-business in Arizona?

Question

I know that some of you will probably have silly answers like, "yeah, I do. Everyday I do that"

What I am asking is what it is like to live there. Are there any special laws in Arizona? Nevada does not have any state tax. Anything special about Arizona? Anything significant about the business side of that state? Does Arizona have a good reputation for living there (besides the heat)? Is it hard to start a business in Arizona or are only certian types of business in Arizona's big cities?

(example: Northern California is the Silicon Valley and has all kinds of high tech jobs and postions up there, and Ontario California has all kinds of manufacturing jobs and factories. Some of them may be closed up and gone out of business with the rising prices, but Ontario is pretty much blue collar. Perris is all retail, retail and more retail. The only thing Perris does not have is a decent selection of stores like Vons/Albertsons/Ralphs. Not even a Super Wal-mart).

All I can tell you is that I know about 12 people who have moved from CA to Arizona because jobs are better, homes are better, socializing is better. h**l, If it wasn't for me stuck here due to child custody rules.. I would go myself.  I hear alot of great things about great jobs in Arizona.. Good Luck!

there is a lot of retail and restaurants in the phoenix metro area. try to carve out a niche and you may have better success. unlike CA, AZ has different types of business all over, so no need to target a particular area.
