  4. I lived there for a while, Its really beautiful although in winter it has not so good weather.

    50-55 thousand live there.

    It is north west of France.

    Oh and the people are lovely!

  5. According to the most recent census, more than 50,000 people live in Vannes. Though I am not sure of the metric conversion on that.

    It is in the region which has the highest concentration of megaliths in the world. Major neolithic sites near Vannes are Carnac and Locmariaquer. It is also on the Gulf of Morbihan with its many islands and wonderful seaside resorts. Brittany has gorgeous super fine white sand beaches. Too bad the weather is not a little better...
