  1. why would you want to leave the USA people from the UK want to move over there there is a better way of life over there but if you must welcome you should not have to pay any one to help you move over here the Embassy will sort you out.

  2. If, you go to this website this may help you.  I am not a British citizen, but I think that this website can answer some of your question.

    www.clacksweb.org.uk/regulation/britis...

  3. Before I start, England is counted with Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in terms of citizenship as the UK, so even if you live in England, you could move to any other part of the UK without needing to have anything but the UK citizenship.

The US and UK allow dual citizenship. This means when you become a British citizen you will still be counted by the US as a citizen, so you can travel to and from with no hassle. To become a citizen to live here you need a visa for the amount of years needed to live here permanently. This is five years (or three years if you are married to or a civil partner of a British citizen). Then you can apply for citizenship as a British resident. This takes about 7 months. The cost of applying to be a British national is £655 (or £735 - husband and wife or civil partners who live together applying at the same time). The visa has a cost but I'm not sure what it is.

I can't think of any programs for houses and jobs, but if you contact the British Embassy in the US they may have details of some.

All the info is for if you are over 18 btw.

More info is on the website below.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck!
