  1. I moved to NC two years ago.  It was absolutely beautiful and still is in some places.  A lot of building went on in two years.  I miss the total country look (moved here from NY).  Union County is a wonderful place to live in - the taxes are low and the schools are wonderful.  You'd love it.  Good Luck!
