Anyone moved from UK to South of France and?

moved their pot garden and furniture - is it allowed? will they just die en-route?

as far as i know you cant take soil in to another country.

How long is the estimated travelling time??If it's within 24hrs the plants will survive the trip...but in the south of france the climatical change from wet and cool to hot and dry may affect your plants initially...I suggest you keep them in the shade for a week with lot's of watering ...,then put them somewhere "west facing"..and eventually(depending on their preferences?) exposed to the strong sunlight and don't forget the "mistral" ,a sometimes very strong wind from the north!! hope this helped?
