Anyone moved miles away and really miss where they lived before?

Yeah I was 6 months when we first moved to this small town and then when I was 9 we moved back so I really miss all of my friends. I still keep in touch though!

Yes. Lived there between 1952-1959. Famagusta. The most beautiful City on "the Eastern Mediterranean" - the "Venice of") with a beach resembling Surfers' Paradise. Occupied since July 1974.

When I was young, every time my father was promoted in his job, we had to move to a different county. In six years I went to four different grammar schools, and yes each time I dearly missed the place and the friends that I had left behind. None the less I survived to tell the tale! You can get used to moving around, infact you can turn into a wander-lust and get itchy feet if you stay too long in any one place, when you have been used to a life on the move.

I have lived in 7 different states, here in the USA.  I've lived in several cities in some of those states.  The reasons vary.  I miss several places I have lived, but I especially miss living near the water.  Most of my life I have lived near big lakes or the oceans, now for the first time, I live inland. It's beautiful here, but not much water.   I also miss living near my Mom, who lives about 3000 miles from me.

well, I lived in Masontown before and I just recently moved to connellsville and it sucks becuz I left my friends in the middle of high school and now I like dont know any one and it is scary becuz i dont talk to n e  1 becuz I am afraid they wont like me and yea .. I am a cheerleader here and everyone seems to like that just fine

Yeah i moved to Holland stayed there a year then my sister had a baby so i moved back to my home really missed it at the time .
