Light up some nice scented candles at home, cook something nice and when he gets home, welcome him with a drink, make him feel real good and get him to relax. Have his slippers ready, change of clothes etc..make him feel completely pampered. It will be something out of his expectation and what's more, he will be so delighted to feel like a 'King'!

If you aren't very much a cook, order in. Enjoy a champagne/wine and enjoy a nice romantic dinner in your very own home. And, remember to get a thoughtful present for him too.

There are so many good restaurants in Singapore.  What's his favorite place to eat?  I'd go there.  If not, then cooking him a special meal would also be nice.  If you have kids, having grandparents watch the kids would be extra special.

The 211 Roof Terrace Cafe in Holland Village was nice and romantic for my wife and I.  Here's link with a review:
