that our country is going crazy? That regular Americans are becoming obsessed with their candidate and arguing with others in stores, businesses and even churches! Friendships and families are becoming divided to the point of not speaking to one another! Is this is what the candidates want? Is this what political leaders want? What happened to the candidates promises of bringing America together? The other day A man was driving on the highway in front of me with a McCain sticker on his car, another car pulled up aside him and flipped him off!! I have seen this with Obama stickers as well! We must leave our political stances out of the workplace and everyday public places! You may be proud of your candidate but don't take it to the point where it offends others!

  1. You are so right!  Isn't it amazing that we have one country that is equally divided over politics?  It's been this way for a while but with the upcoming elections, it's worse.

You know it's bad when even families are divided and are having heated arguments over candidates.

Luckily, we only have about two months to go.  But...no matter who wins, we'll still be divided.  Scary thought, hunh?

  2. Its the candidates fualt. Well...McCain / Palin's to be exact. Their views are so radical, people are behaving radically.

  3. You just  never noticed it before, or maybe you are too young.

    People have always been crazy.

  4. Im a truck driver and I see more Obama people flipping McCain people off then I do vice versa. One day I saw this women and her young child at a car was with a McCain Sticker. A few min later a group of people came by in a car and thru Ice on them and called them a racist!!

  5. In my local paper there was something during the primary where an Obama supporter had shot his brother because he was a Clinton supporter. (Or maybe it was the other way around.)

  6. lmao this whole election is driving us crazy. lets face it.....we all want bush out that bad......

  7. ha ha ha... that is why in real life (unless I am with people I know that can have a rational discussion) I keep my mouth shut... It turns bad... I don't even post comments on blogs or away messages that let people know who I am supporting.. I have many friends that support Obama and the last thing I want is to lose a friend over politics... :/

  8. AMEN!! you are absolutely right. I remember when it was a hush, hush thing to discuss who you were voting for. Now everyone is free with what they think, which is ok to a certain point. Nobody should bash the other for what they believe. The arguing is silly. If someone has chosen different then me, Oh well, that's there choice and there will to do so... as my will to choose whom ever I want.

  9. The same thing happened during the elections in 2004. To most people, their vote is very personal and they take it seriously.

  10. You're right, it is crazy.

  11. I take people voting for Obama as a personal attack against me.

See... I work... I work hard, I have always worked and I have EARNED everything that I have.

When I hear someone say that they are voting to Obama, what I am hearing from them is that they don't care how hard I have worked, I should just turn over everything that I have for those that don't.

I DO NOT believe in universal health care

I DO NOT believe that those that don't work should have a higher standard of living

I DO NOT believe that we are "world citizens"

    I LOVE my country.

I have SERVED my country with pride.

There is nothing that Obama wants that I believe in.

He is a fraud.. a fake...

  12. These are crazy times.

  13. My grandmother said that back in the old days, folks didn't discuss what party they belonged to, let alone reveal who they were voting for. That was like personal info.

  14. Well, it is a major decision to choose which candidate is right to run our country.  It is a little concerning to some people that we are constantly debating whether Obama is good or if McCain is doing the right thing.  I think that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but don't fight about it if someone contradicts it because it will happen!

  15. You are right, no one will remember in 3 months. Maybe this will give you a laugh about the whole thing; Jib Jab
