Is that a bad thing that more and more teams are having two sponsors or is it because of sponsors are so much

ex. dale jr runs national guard and amp

carl edwards runs aflac and office depot

and next year tony stewart will run office depot and old spice

  1. Bad? The more the merrier. It's going to get tougher to find sponsors.

  2. that's been going on for a while. kyle runs m&m mars (including snickers), pedigree, combos, and interstate batteries. even four-time champ jeff gordon runs dupont and nicorette. (does dupont make the "polacrilex" in "nicotine polacrilex?")

fewer and fewer teams are able to find sponsors willing and/or able to pony up the full cost, and they are becoming fewer and fewer - budweiser, miller lite, lowe's/kobalt, home depot, fedex. it's a sign of the times.

  3. It's kind of ironic, the COT cars are supposed to be cheaper for the teams, yet we're starting to see more multiple main sponsors for one team.

  4. Sponsors are great, more you have the better your team is.

But one or two primary sponsors are enough.

WIth the occasional special schemes thrown in then you got yourself a great team standing with the sport.

LOL, take for example Kvapil, he's had over 10 sponsored cars, but he has no permanent sponsor, so his team is in survival mode, as the economy is laggin a bit.  Once he gets a full time sponsor he can do better in the sport (moneywise)

  5. a single sponser doent want to pay 30 plus million for a season so you will get multiple sponsors on all the good teams

  6. I also noticed that the sky is blue....     thanks for the breaking news!!

  7. Yea. I am sure this was noted for quite a while now. Its a sign of the economy really. No longer can most shill out the millions it takes to sponsor a car full time anymore. The exception however is Aflac, who is going to be a full time sponsor of the #99 next season.

  8. It's a necessity nowadays.

Woah!  What a somersault.   Where was I ?

I do like Tonys Office Depot car.  It's slick.
