It's back on the telly every day at 4pm.

I think it's great (John Thaw is my favourite actor mind you he's a Mancunian)

It inspired me to visit the south east especially Oxford where the programme is made

  1. I think Inspector Morse was the best British police drama ever made. I really miss it. I've watched the new shows about Lewis, but it's just not the same. John Thaw was a class act.

  2. i totally agree

  3. Yes - one of the few harmless programmes on the TV.

  4. ye i love it im 14 which is kinda weird cause i dont like old programmes but my mam loves this and i think it's just sum gud ol' fashioned tv!

  5. Can't say that I've ever watched it, but my mother is nuts about it! Anyway what's so bad about being from Manchester, I'm from Manchester. You mention it like it's an issue.

I used to watch Mr Thaw in "Monsenior Renard", set in WW2 France. He was of course excellent. Also "Goodnight Mr Tom" is another superb John Thaw drama.

I think you'll find that Kevin Whateley was in "Auf Weidersen Pet" long before Peak Practice was ever made.

  6. yes the man was a great actor

  7. no its rubbish
