What is this med usually used for? I know Dr's use it for depression,anxiety what ever they want but I guess what I want to know if what is it really made to target? Depression? Anxiety? Mood disorders?

It is used for depression.  

But, drugs only mask problems...they don&#039;t make them go away.

Its for Depression, and the side effects are worse then the friggin&#039; medicine itself.

My mother was on it for depression. But it also helped her with her heat flashes XD lol

I was on this and it did nothing for me. It can be used for depression, to stop smoking, if you have seasonal affective disorder and anxiety.

Anxiety and I hated it.

It is targeting anxiety and resulting depression. It is for many a life saver. But others react differently. So one has to try it out for its positive results.

it has been found affective in several mood disorders and like any psychoactive drug the affects are different on different people. it works great on some and exacerbates others.in recent years it has been used extensively and quite successfully in relieving withdrawal symptoms in people who quit smoking.
