  1. Lots of detailed information in the links below.

Not as gawdy a decor as some of the older CCL ships, generally good food and service but not as good as on Princess, HAL, or RCCL. More kids than on HAL or X but they make a decent effort at keeping them occupied with the Camp Carnival.

We always have a good time and find that it's usually a good value relative to other cruise lines.

    Enjoy!

  2. I've been on the Imagination, Inspiration and most recently the Valor. It was amazing. The Valor is newer, larger, and has better service than older smaller ships in the same line. I especially liked the deserts and was so impressed with the food I bought the Carnival cookbook. Keep in mind that most people who put down Carnival have either never been on a Carnival ship or are teenagers who have never paid for their own cruise. Carnival did not get to be the biggest cruiseline without delivering a good product at a value price. I am also not brand loyal. I choose whichever ship is going to the ports I want to see. Those that have biking, hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and some historical significance. Given that, I always look for at least a 4 star rating. The longer the cruise the less party hardy atmosphere there is. The longer cruises tend to have more experienced passengers. Bon Voyage.
