Anyone out there ever spent time working on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier?

Question

i was a plane captain in a helicopter squadron, helped land, and launch helicopters. I hated night time operations.

I was on the USS Ranger.

why yes i have....well I AM! haha. I'm taxi'ing our jets to the catapults. i'm on the USS George H. W. Bush. Night time operations do suck....no lights whatsoever. But....you gotta admit, the way the moon lit the sea is something a regular person doesnt get to see.
