I'm thinking of moving there, but if Durong's in drought like the rest of SE Queensland it's not good for what I want to do. Nanango is supposed to be in some sort of a drought-free valley but I can't find the right number of acres for the right price there. And it's not like the real estate agents are going to tell me!! Thanks guys.

  1. Hi ... while not trying to put you off coming to the magical South Burnett, I fear to tell you that Durong is very much in drought. If anything, worse than Nanango. However the local councils have plans to build a pipeline linking Boondooma Dam to Gordonbrook Dam so the water problems (at least for townsfolk) will probably be alleviated. Of course, it could always start raining! (There is really no such thing as a "drought-free valley")
