Anyone out there live in a concrete apartment building?

Question

I currently live in a condo in a wood frame building. Most of the time it's alright, but the neighbors below me (thank goodness they're not above) are careless with the door. When the front door is closed loudly, it really resonates in our unit. Thankfully I cannot hear conversation or music from below.

I have considered moving to a concrete building to lessen the noise, but of course then you never know who your neighbors will be, and they could be louder. My thoughts are I would hear less door noise, but not sure the move is worth the difference. Anyone have experience either way?
