Anyone out there travelled solo?

I am a female travelling solo for the first time overseas. I am backpacking around the USA. Does anyone have any stories to share from other solo travelling experiences?

I travel solo all the time. I have ridden a 21 speed Trek Mountain Bicycle from Edmond, Oklahoma to Wichtia Falls, Texas. Takes 2 days. 170 miles 1 way. Chickasha, OK is 70 miles, but I do sleep the night there.

I haven't, but I'm going to in June! It may sound dangerous for a girl to go solo, but it's really safe if you have done all your preparations beforehand. Know what can happen and prepare for the worst scenarios. Try not to behave like a stupid tourist. Be open and meet people and they will help you! You will definitely enjoy yourself. Have fun!!
