  1. Before you spend lots of money on a special program, I recommend you read "Overcoming Dyslexia" by Sally Shaywitz.  Her book was written for parents and is very easily understood (it is not written in educational-ese).  There are many strategies that can help a person with dyslexia and many of them are outlined in her book.

    Good Luck!

  2. There is a video  / work book with many techniques that will self help dyslexia. " Being In Control: Natural Solutions For ADHD , Dyslexia , and Test Anxiety. By Jason Alster with Amazon.com

  3. Try Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic: www.rfbd.org.  Your school may already have a membership -- actually, I think they might have a special right now where you can try an individual membership for free, but it's only until July 31, so call now.  Basically, they provide books on CD's, and your son can listen and follow along in his book.  By doing that, he can pick up his comprehension significantly in about six weeks.  Call them (number on website) and ask about it.  I know a number of people who it worked for, and they now have master's degrees.
