Anyone out there who has some tips about auditioning for film?

Hey! I have been in the business for basically my whole life, but i need some tips for an audition that i have this afternoon. I am supposed to play an "emo" girl...how can i make the character convincing, but not go overboard?

You should know a 'emo' person in real life, act like them.

Make them like a real person, quiet around most, but strong in their beliefs.
