Anyone out there with TRICARE Prime insurance (spouse) who has had TRICARE pay for oral surgery and or bridges

if so, could you tell me what verbiage your dentist had to use in order for them to cover the cost? The handbook states medically necessary

  1. To be medically necessary is going to involve an injury to the mouth that required the teeth to be removed in the first place.

    Getting older or general breakdown of the teeth isn't going to be covered by any medical insurance, nevermind TRICARE.  They don't pay for braces either.  Same principle.
