Anyone own or ever used a Ouja Board

Question

Just curious to know if it the device really does move by itself and people's experiences with it? I have a co-worker who said that his sister-in-law tried it and was trying to communicate with her dead brother, but instead she brought in a different spirit into her house.

Played it as a teenager and I am telling you that it just goes the way you are thinking. If my friend had a crush on a boy we would ask it if he'd ask her out or marry her. If we were all thinking yes then it would go yes. Did it really happen...no.

You play it by everyone putting their finger tips lightly on the guide and then ask it a question. You are suppose to have a clear mind it will go to the correct answer.

I have owned a ouija board in the past, and I have used one.  Nothing happened.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

I've used it. I don't deny it's truth, but I don't know. My friends and I have a Halloween tradition of playing with one my friend has. We are cheaters, and totally move the piece. So, we broke into groups. The serious, and the jokers. We've gotten some pretty weird predictions that have come true...

To play it you usually gather a couple people and put your finger on the piece. You ask a question and wait. If you wait more than ten minutes, try rephrasing the sentence or asking another question. Perhaps you'll have a ghostly encounter.

ehhh i wouldn't s***w around with that stuff ive heard of people getting seriously hurt or freakied out by these things idk if they are real or not jus stay away for the love of god
