Anyone own/owned a Mazda5?

We are a family of 3 with soon to be 4. We've been looking at Toyota and Honda minivans. We came across the Mazda5, its smaller, better MPG and costs less too.

If you have/had one what did or didn't you like about it?

Thanks!!!

  1. Wonderful van. Legroom is great, i'm 5'10" and I can sit in the 2nd row comfortably. The front is a little small. My dad is 6'4" and doesn't have much legroom, but unless you are around that height you should be fine. Seat are comfy, great for long trips. Best handling van and also the most fun. As for reliability, it's flawless. There isn't much to dislike about it, if someone forced me at gunpoint to say something bad about the Mazda5, I would probably say that it doesn't offer power seats. That's how great the car is. I would think seriously about it, it is highly reccomended by many people. Wonderful vehicle, you won't regret buying it one bit. The coolest thing is that automatic climate control is standard on the base model! This is only offered on the high end Odysseys and Siennas. If the stereo is important to you, it sounds very good. Here's a link to some consumer reviews: http://www.edmunds.com/mazda/mazda5/2008... The Mazda5 actually is rated higher by consumers on Edmunds than the Odyssey or Sienna! Enjoy your Mazda5!

  2. The Mazda 5 is the smallest, most fuel efficient, best handling, and most fun to drive Minivan available in the U.S.

It is a reliable car. Mazda is Japanese and I have owned Mazda's.

It looks sporty and very nice.

It is also not common to see on the road, which is a good thing because it will turn more heads.

The Honda Odyssee is the best in class minivan. But the Mazda is also a good choice,
