that scare me ALOT. But, I don't want to be seem much

as a scaredy cat before she'll ditch me. I've never actually had

the experience to go on a roller coaster because of my fright ness in me. What can I do? Please give me tips. PLEASE.

  1. ride all the rides... then decide what you dont like. for most people its the rides that drop straight down. besides that anyone who ever told me they are "Scared" of rollercoasters end up loving it in the end. ive been on some of the scariest rollercoaster in the world and in the end im more scared of spinning rides then i am rides with huge drops. If you truely are deathly afraid start out with the kid rides and work your way up. good luck :)

  2. Just offer to be the one who takes pictures of all your friends while they go on it...then it will seem like you're doing everyone a favor instead of wimping out.

(But I do suggest you try one because once you do, you will at least know if you like them, and you won't have regrets)

  3. Just think the whole time how much fun it will be, and think of the adrenaline rush!  Fear gives you adrenaline, which makes you feel so cool! (well, except when you are being chased by an ax murderer, but that's a different story)  OR... Try to keep your mind off of it, and talk about other things while you are in line, or play some games, or anything that keeps you pre-occupied.

    Have Fun!!!

  4. get on the scariest ride they have then you wouldn't be scared of all the other ones because you've rode the scariest one there

  5. look foprward to it.. also, theres a bigger chance of u dying on ur way to a roller coaster that when ur actuallt on one

  6. If someone ditches you, they are not your friend.

  7. if its a field trip then its optional for you to go so if you feel that bad dont go =)

  8. i always just think you can't die. You'll survive until the end. Think of it as an adventure. You'll be the big tall brave one that's not scared of some stupid rollercoaster. Be positive, like i was going on this HUMONGUS rollercoaster during spring vacation at Universal Studios and we were about to go down the hill and i was SO scared. But then i thought about what my friend was doing. i though "i'm sitting here about to go down the most largest hill i  have ever seen and my best friend is probably at home right now sitting on her butt watching TV. " lol bye the time i stopped laughing the ride was over.i looked over to my couzin and said "that was boring!" lol. Think of something else. Hope this helped!

  9. Tough spot yer in.  Here's what I have to say ... Roller Coasters are supposed to scare you.  That's their job.  Everything about them, the way they sound, thier position in the park, the fact that they're visible from the parking lots, etc are designed to put the fear of god into you.  That's also part of the fun.  If you've never been on larger coasters they sure can be intimidating.  Here's an idea to help you get over the fear ... or maybe this will add to it (but I hope not.  First go to the Roller Coaster Database and get a list of all tahe coasters at Knott's ... then go to Youtube and search for the coaster, but put POV (point of view) and you can virtually ride them first. It may help to alleviate some of your fear if you know what to expect.
