Choose a product or service such as pizza, a car, a haircut, or tax service and compile a list of the costs incurred in producing it.

Once you decieded on the product or service here are things you need to look into:

your fix cost: such as rent, cost of equipment/depreciation, loan payments, any other contractual obligation, etc.

Your variable cost: Cost or raw material, cost of labor, cost of utilities, operations supplies (ex: office supplies, cleaning supplies etc).

You must come up with the numbers and add them up.  It totally depends on the type of product or service.
