Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer or Eldest by Christopher Paolini, which do you think described the transformation of their characters better? Not the actual transformation, but which do you think described the change after the transformation, the differences? Eragon becomes more elf like and Bella turns into a vampire.

  1. deffinitly eldest

  2. Eldest for sure!! YOu can't even compare books like Eldest to the c**p that Stephenie Meyers' writes. He was more descriptive, and it made  a lot more sense. Plus, the book is written waaaaaaay better than any of those twilight books, cause the author actually put thought into it.

  3. i think bella's transformation was better. She learned about new things she never realized and she had a chance to rethink some things that she never got to. before breaking dawn bella never dreamed of being a mother but her character developed and became mature enough to handle that responsibility.

  4. that is a tricky one, because i haven't read eldest in a couple years... but i would have to say that stephenie meyer did a realllly good job with bella's transformation... that was the best part of the book, i think! but i do remember that christopher paolini also did a magnificent job with his character's transformation.... it is a tie for me!!!

  5. I don't like either book, but I actually prefer Breaking Dawn, because even though both were several hundred pages of nothing, that at least had the section in Jacob's point of view.

    I think the discriptions tie.

  6. I think the author described it better in Eldest, you know, he even described how he can count the hairs on a leaf just by touching it, and how things are so much easier and lighter. It even said that he was able to complete the meditation the first time after his transformation because he had all the elf abilities, which included being able to focus on everything.

And Breaking Dawn, well, the description and detail just seemed a little unsatisfactory. Like there was a big hole waiting to be filled in.
