Anyone read "'Salem's Lot"?

Question

I like Stephen King's other books, but this one's boring so far. I'm 53 pages in and it's kinda boring so far. Does anyone know when it starts to get good?

Stick with it man. It's one of my favorites by him. I think it takes King a bit more than a hundred pages to paint a pretty good picture of all the different people living in Salem's Lot, and from there things start to get really interesting.

I know, hun, I read it last year for my junior project.

It doesn't get real interesting until you only have, like, 150 pages left I think.

But it's really good, keep reading!

Do you have the extended one? If not, read that one. It's much more graphic. But just stick with it for a little while. It does take some time (especially that intro), but it does get quite good.

i got got to page 200 and stopped readin it... its too boring.  it all depends on the person tho. if you dont like a book within the first 100 pages i doubt if u will get into it at all

i think we had to read that in high school..it was alright, nothing memorable. i watched the Movie...its old,..but pretty good for old school horror.
