Jason Whitlock, columnist for the Kansas City wrote this for FOXSports.com. http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/8309562

"Limbaugh has more in common with Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriquez, Shaquille O'Neal, Terrell Owens, Dave Chappelle, Al Sharpton and yours truly than he does with his 20 million Dittoheads."

It's a pretty fascinating comparison, don't you agree?

  1. Sounds like a bad case of "sour grapes" to me.

  2. More in common with Barry Bonds, etc....

It is true in the sense that Limbaugh gets paid big bucks for engaging in schoolyard antics. In his case it simply happens to be the informal, sixth-grade version of legitimate debating.

The difference is that pro athletes don't get 15 hours of airtime each week to frame public debate on an issue in a way that is favorable to the Republican Party. I hear his same arguments -- in precisely the same language echoed by politicians and by various individuals who post on YA!

Either all these people swallow Rush's rhetoric like it's a slie of pepperoni pizza  or they just don't care.

  3. One of the things I like about Jason Whitlock is that you're never quite sure what angle he'll take on an issue. This column was a good example of that.
