Anyone received their extended Unemployment checks yet?

I live in New England and I have applied about 3 1/2 weeks ago, I have been calling in for the weekly claims like they told me to, but I have received no more info. The 800 line doesn't seem to have much info, they say it SHOULD be 3 or 4 weeks and I have done everything I need to. This is the 4th week now. I have even searched the internet and there isn't much more updated info after the first or 2nd week in July. I also checked my state govt website nothing update there since July 9th.

Has anyone got their checks or been told an exact date when they will get them? and if so what area are you from?

And for the people that have comments about go get a job. Not everyone is abusing the system, there are plenty of people losing their homes, their jobs, and can't pay there bills. I have been working for 25 years and not once have I used any assistance or money from this state, I was laid off with 50-60 other people when our company closed to due this mortgage crisis. Even my prior company they also shut down. I seem to be over qualified for everything, or they have 50 100 applicants for every job. So any more info anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

i also got a letter saying my unployment will be extended as of july 13 for a additional 10 weeks i filed online 3 weeks so far and nothing i heard from a few people it takes 4 weeks from the first week you file i also have never recieved unployment before i am a union ironworker out of indianapolis since i was 18 been doing it 9 years now and never been laid off this long the economy is messed up there is no work i even moved to ohio for work and nothing then i moved to pensylvania for work and nothing i hope it comes soon .........good luck to you and hope things work out i am to struggling right now

Hi the letter I got stated that it should be 21 days. My stepmother also got the same letter. I'm from north georgia and she lives in south georgia. We have both certified each week as the letter stated but have heard nothing yet. I use the internet to certify and she phones hers in. I'm hoping something will come through soon. There have been tons of lay offs here as well. Hope you hear something soon. Good Luck.
