Anyone recently travelled on Turkish airlines?

Question

How strict are they in their baggage allowance?

If someone is carrying extra-weight in their luggage, are they likely to charge for every kg over the allowance, or are they usually lenient and will let go?

Please share your experience flying Turkish airlines! (Any comments welcome)

All airports are strict I wouldn't chance it.

A friend works on luggage at airport and you will have to pay if over

They are very good but sometime they look at the weight as all airlines are trying to reduce weight but they are very good airline.
