Anyone remember the story about the stolen lawn ornament that traveled the world?

I remember this story being very funny and have been searching for it everywhere. I recall it being a frog but I could be wrong. The lawn ornament was stolen and then the thieves took it on their vacation and sent back postcards every few days with pictures of the lawn ornament in various famous places. Does anyone have more details to this story or have any idea where I can get the scoop or an article on the internet?
