I think that you are going to have a tough time finding a place for that cheap.

If you do find something, let me know how you found it! I am also looking for a place to rent in Toronto but everything seems SO expensive... or it's a total dive.

Try looking for rentals on websites such as:

1. http://www.livedeal.ca

2. http://toronto.craigslist.org/apa/ "Craig's list"

3. http://www.bluespace.ca/listing.php

4. http://www.viewit.ca/vwdefault.aspx

For some of the sites you have to specify 'Toronto' or a certain area in Toronto, etc...
