Specialized finally introduced 29ers and it looks to like 29ers are becoming more trendy. Anybody want to share any thoughts? How much difference do you notice from the traditional 26"?

  1. The first answer is completely wrong.

  2. I am happy with my 29er. I have a Fisher Ferrous 29er. It does seem to roll over more obstacles, but it could be my imagination. Many people state that 29ers are for taller riders; I am 6'7" and ride a 21" frame.

Test ride a bike if you get a chance. I know I am somewhat interested in the 69ers. I am tempted to get a 29er front fork and wheel for my 26er dual suspension bike.

  3. you use less energy to move somewhere on a 29er because you cover more ground in one pedal stroke.

  4. 26ers have a better allcleration thaey a little more handling  29ers can go over stuff better and have more traction    there are unsupended single speed 29ers there  are just plain fun i like them i dont know about the others
