  1. I saw several while visiting Florida on spring break. They look like alligators, except their snout is longer and more narrow. They are endangered. There are less than 1,000 left in the wild. Sadly, they are still poached for their hides. They are amazing animals that live at least 50 years. Their noses are very long and they live in fresh water marshes. American Crocodiles aren't as aggressive as Nile Crocodiles. I saw them at Biscayne National Park in Florida.


  2. i had one as a pet,i let him go when he was too big.after that he would visit me often and i would feed him out of my hand,but then we moved so we couldn't see him anymore

    Their really neat pets to have,I used to feed him rats..

  7. yup. i live in australia and its funny 2 here u say they r endangered beacause they're DEFINATELY not rare here.  u can go anywhere to see one. i saw one just yesterday.  i went on a trip down the Daintree River and saw about 15, which is a small no. for the daintree
