Anyone seen david tennant in hamlet

i can't get a ticket as were sold out in 5 mins but hoping to get one on standby, has anyone seen it what accent does he have and was it brilliant?

  1. No, but I saw him in The Pillowman and he's an astounding actor. He is much bigger and better than the Doctor who role. He can cut it as a serious actor.


  2. I saw him last night. I was actually a bit worried it was going to be weird, but it blew me away. The whole company were excellent but watching David was pure pleasure. He's completely compelling to watch, it's hardly possible to take your eyes off him with all his energy and wit. He uses his English accent (same as for the Doctor) which is not surprising given that the entire company is speaking in the same dialect. Good luck getting a ticket, it is worth every penny. :)
