Anyone seen or heard of "goose egg" bump re-appearring?

Question

My son (2 yrs old) fell on the floor about 5 days ago and got a big bump on his forehead. We watched him very closely that day, and since he was acting just fine, we left it alone. By morning it was gone. Just now I looked at him sitting on the couch, and it has re-appeared. He was just throwing a fit (terrible 2's) but he didn't hit on anything. Could the crying make it swell up again? Should I be worried about it? He is acting fine, playing right now. When I touched it, it didn't seem to hurt much.

i agree with the person above me.  he probably hit it again.  ice it, no worries.

Goose Egg's do not reappear.  Most likely he re-bumped his head.  However, if you are truely concerned it does not hurt to give the nurse-on-call a call or even the doctor.  Im sure they will reassure you he is ok.
