  1. A few times from my back garden in north Northumberland (they were just green) and once when I was driving home up the A1 - they were red and green. I had to stop the car for my friend to see then as he had been to Norway and the Arctic Circle and never seen them.

  3. no...but evryone says...it's the most beautiful thing in the world.:D! it's one of the 501 wonders of the world! I've always wanted to see it!!!!

  4. On a ship in Murmansk and on ships going across the North Atlantic. I've never seen them from the UK although they are supposed to be visible from N. Scotland.

  5. I saw them when I was a sailor in the Royal Navy. We were off the north of scotland in the oil fields they were beautiful. green and red boiling across the sky.

  7. The night I was born my dad seen the most beautifull Northern Light show in a really long time. We live in Southern Canada, and i'm named after them :)

  8. Twice, here in Norway. And it's really magical! It moves faster than one may think and when something moves over such a incredible distance entirely soundless, it really creates awe and admiration.
