I bought my dress from there last year.  They are registered on Better Business Bureau and I talked to them on the phone a couple of times as well as e-mailed them before placing an order.  They were very professional.  Depending on the designer the dress can take up to 6 months to get.  I ordered my dress at the end of Jan. and got it the beginning of June--1 month before my wedding.  I was VERY pleased with the service and got the dress I wanted.  I think you are smart by trying the dress on in a local shop first just to know if you truly love it and they can give you the measurements for the size you will need.  PLUS with this website for certain designers you get a free veil, free shoes, and free shipping.  The veils and shoes were just as gorgeous as the dresses and there was a huge selection.  GOOD LUCK :)

I work in a bridal salon, and we have brides come in ALL THE TIME literally in tears because their wedding is in 2 weeks, and they STILL haven't gotten the dress they ordered from whatever online site they ordered it from, or they received their dress, and it's NOTHING like it looked in the picture.  There was one a year or so ago that just went out of business, and left HUNDREDS of brides out cold, no refunds on the money they had paid, and certainly no dress.  Please, please please please please do yourself a favor, do not buy a dress as important as your wedding dress from an online source.  You need to be able to try on the gown before you buy it, because while it looks great in the picture, it may look completely different on you.  I promise you, you will NOT pay a fortune to buy at a small retailer, or even a larger one.  Most of the wedding dresses I sell are under $1000, oh I'll sell a few that are more expensive, but the bulk of what I sell (and my store sells) are in the $500-$1000 range.  Please please please don't do this--you want to see what you're buying BEFORE you buy it!  I wish you all the best!  Good luck!
