Anyone stay at the grand oasis in Cancun Mexico? Any thoughts or words of wisdom?

Going at the end of august. Very excited!

I am staying there Aug 17-24 w/ my Fiance' .. i'm scared after the reviews we read... but when you think about it... its only the place to hang up your clothes and sleep... not where you are going to be all the time.

Check out the other Oasis hotels while your there, try the foam party , see if you get the Golf bonus which is usually 9 hole green fee's at the sister hotel Oasis.  ( Rental equipment is available.)
