Anyone stayed at Marquis hotel in Cabo, Mexico?

Did you like the beach there? Is the water too rough for swimming?

Hola!  The Marquis is a lovely hotel, it is located on the "corridor" between the two towns in Los Cabos.  Yes, honestly the beach in front can be a bit rough for swimming some days - but they will put out flags so you know if its safe or not.  About 5 minutes away by car is a swimming snorkeling bay called Chileno, which is the nicest place to swim in Cabo.  Next door to the Marquis is the Hilton and Cabo Real and they have built a breakwater in the ocean so that you can enjoy the surf.  You picked a really great place and the swimming pools are unbelievable, so that will make up for the beach swimming, hands down!

NO!! This place was horrible and dirty! I even checked out early and went somewhere else! I stayed at a vacation rental called the casa rosa...LOVED IT! Try WWW.CASAROSAVILLA.com and check it out. You have your own private beach, tennis courts, etc. in the development.
