What's it like? What's the transfer time from the airport? Is it good for kids?

  1. i don't know those apartments as it is a number of years since i was in Ibiza at Sarmagassa which is joined to Es cana.there was a nice market there called "hippie market" there is a stretch of trees to walk through to beach which was nice ..Ibiza is great for kids as are all the islands...the resort is maybe an hour from Ibiza town but that as always depends on which resorts they drop off at first

  2. if you want more information go to tripadvisor.com. Also I have been in http://www.dimehoteles.com/hotel-en-Sant... . Itá very nice hotel and cheap too.

  3. Have a look on Trip Advisor.com. Candid traveller reviews - simply type in the name and place and if someone has written about it, it will appear.

  4. Hi there- Can you be more specific about your accomodation?

Sirenis is a hotel group like Sol/Melia or Hilton. Theres the Sirenis Coral Playa in Es Cana or The Sirenis Atlantic. Both are ok and suitable for familites with children.

I am assuming though that as you refer to "Apartments" you might be meaning The Sirenis Atlantic because it's now an "aparthotel" and has a 4 star rating.

If this is the right one, then well done for chosing it because it's due to re-open this year after major refurbishment. They say that now, it is the best complex of it's type on the island, so you'll be absolutley fine!

I always think that if a place has just been refurbished then you can't go wrong. Everything will be clean and fresh and you'll at least be guaranteed good clean comfortable accomodation which is a huge part of a holiday- no one wants to live in a dump and pay through the nose for it.

Have a look at the piccies here:

Reviews are here- bearing in mind anything before May 2007 will have been before the refurbishment

Es Cana as a resort is perfect for families.

Check out this website for in depth infor about the island too :

If I were you, I wouldn't be worried about a thing- you'll be absoltley fine- I really hope you have a great time!

    Good luck
